Game Of Thrones: Predictions For The Upcoming Winter

The season Finale of Game Of Thrones -- came to reveal the truth about the parentage of "Jon Snow" and that he's more than "Ned Stark's" bastard but he's the son of Ned's sister "Lyanna" and the late crown prince "Rhaegar Targaryen".

In Bran's vision, "Ned Stark" is at the "Tower of Joy", beside his sister's bed and "Lyanna" is whispering her last words in his ears and all we hear is: "Promise me Ned" .. "His name is …" we don’t hear his name, and that Robert will kill the baby if he finds out.

Well, "Robert" would have no reason to kill the baby if it belonged to Lyanna and any other person. The only reason he’d kill the baby is that if it belonged to "Rhaegar Targaryen". This makes "Jon" the son of "Rhaegar" and "Lyanna".

The Question now is "What is Bran gonna do after what he saw ?

Going south of the Wall -- not back to Winterfell but heading to "Lord Howland Reed" _the only survivor of Ned's men at the battle of the "Tower of Joy"_ for clarification of the vision then the truth can go public, I guess this is the more logical prospect for the need of a witness on Jon's parentage.

But did the revealing of Jon Snow's parentage increase his chances of sitting on the Iron Throne ?

After six seasons finally -- "Daenerys" is crossing the narrow sea after she had alliance with ...

House Martell -- who are enemies with the Lannisters or to be accurate with "Cersei Lannister" for the death of "Oberyn Martell".

House Tyrell -- who wants to get revenge on "Cersei" for burning Margaery the Queen, Loras the heir of  House and Lord Mace the lord of the House in the explosion of the Great Sept Of Baelor with wildfire.

House Greyjoy -- Yara and Theon Greyjoy who escaped after their uncle "Euron" became the king of the Iron Islands. Seeking an alliance with "Daenerys", Yara and Theon introduce their fleet to "Daenerys" in return she would give them back the Iron Islands after she sits on the Iron Throne.

Between her allies, army and of course dragons .. "Daenerys" is surely on her way to sit on the Iron Throne.

With no fleet to protect kings Landing my expectations keep going that -- "Cersei" may send "Jaime" to the North to fight "Jon" who is now gathering the houses under the banner of the Starks calling himself "King In The North", and make an alliance or may be a marriage alliance with "Euron Greyjoy" for his fleet, to face Daenerys' fleet coming to attack King's Landing.

Cersei's ending looks mysterious and hard to be expected as she's wanted by many .. besides the Tyrells and the Martells we forgot "Arya Stark" that seems to be serious about her Hitlist in which "Cersei" occupies the second place after Walder Frey.

Back in this season's premiere, just after she finds that her daughter "Myrcella" is dead, "Cersei" mentioned the prophecy of a witch she'd been told years ago, but the scene skipped the witch last words mentioned in R. R. Martin's book: "The Valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale throat and choke the life from you"

"Valonqar" means "little brother" in Valyrian, which increases the possibilities of Cersei's death by Jamie, for trying to burn King's Landing with wildfire after Daenerys' army enter the city ..

The MAD QUEEN who knows ?!!

Another character with mysterious upcoming events -- is "Arya Stark", that I expect somehow will meet "Sandor Clegane" again who is now wandering with the Brotherhood Without Banners. For the events have been cut at episode 8, we don't know whether Game of Thrones would give us Lady Stoneheart in the upcoming seasons or they just would replace her with "Arya" who has already achieved Lady Stoneheart's target and took revenge on the Freys.

Then came those awkward theories adopted by the fans -- Daenerys talked about may be she will need to make a marriage alliance when she sits on the Iron Throne, so will she end up with "Jon" the King in the North, OR WAIT .. may be Jon and Sansa can marry!!

Not sure what is the attitude of the Seven Gods towards a man wanting to marry his aunt or cousin, or taking the Targaryens' strange tradition of "keeping their blood" on purpose ..

For Sansa, I guess she can marry "Robert Arryn", manipulate him till she gets revenge on "Little Finger", then she can throw him out of the Moon Door, who cares !!. If only she got smarter after her experience with Joff and Ramsey!!.

"COME ON, THERE ARE GOD DAMN WHITE WALKERS THAT WANT TO CROSS THE WALL" ?!!

In the episode finale of GOT -- Samwell, Gilly, and little Sam arrive in Oldtown and head to the Citadel. There, Sam converses with a maester regarding his admission to study. After barring Gilly from following, the maester leads Sam to the library where he is to wait for an Archmaester.

I expect Samwell will succeed in his mission of learning the ways the First Men used to defeat the White Walkers and I guess he would reveal things about the magic on the Wall.

In season 6 episode 5 -- Bran was marked by the Night's King and his mark broke the magic barrier on the Bloodraven's cave.

In episode 10 -- "Benjen Stark" tells Bran and Meera when they asked him why he wasn't coming back with them south of the wall and he answered: "The wall is not just ice and stone, ancient spells were carved into its foundation. Strong magic, to protect men from what lies beyond. While it stands, the dead cannot pass."

Crossing the Wall to look for Lord Howland Reed, Bran will break the magic on the wall .. Who said it's invulnerable !!

More theories about the Wall fall -- "Joramun" king beyound the wall gathered the Free Folk to battle the Night's King who made the nights watch into his personal army. He joined "Brandon Stark" the Breaker and together brought down the Night's King.

"Joramun" not only fought the the Night's King but also blew the Horn Of Winter to wake the giants from earth and according to the legend the Horn is capable of bringing the Wall down.

The cover of George R. R. Martin's upcoming book "The Winds Of The Winter" proof the strength of this theory.

More theories about the Wall magic -- Another theory came to us form R. R. Martin's book The Ice Dragon, a small novel published in the year 2006. One of the fans theories is that the ice dragons may appear in the upcoming seasons !!

"You will never walk again, but you will fly", that's what the Bloodraven told Bran. I guess if this theory is true, Bran will use his gift as a skinchanger to control the Ice Dragon !! ((Hilarious))

More thoughts about Bran's visions -- One of my best theories is that Bran's whispers are what drove the Mad King to his madness. !!
As we saw, Bran's power could be more than travelling in time, not only seeing the past but also has an impact on the past events. At the Tower of Joy, Ned looked behind him when heard Bran's whispers and the shocking truth about what happened to Hodor.

"Burn them" ... that what the Mad King kept saying. May be the connection Bran made in time, let the Mad King knew that the White Walker are coming to Westeros and he made the wildfire to protect King's Landing, or that belief .. he made the wildfire to burn himself and reborn again as a dragon is just Bran warging the ice dragon !! ((Hallucinations)) !!

Adopting such a theory may lead to the thought that Bran is responsible for all the previous events that starts the war in Westeros.

But why not also that voice "Varys" heard coming form the fire on that night with the wizard !!
